About Stretch

The mentor I wish I had

Every serious player reaches a point where talent isn't enough. The game speeds up, the competition gets better, and the questions get harder.

How do I get noticed? How do I handle failure? What does it really take to compete in college, and to keep earning your spot once you're there?

I've walked that path. I played Division I baseball at Florida State and UCF, then played professionally with the New Jersey Jackals. Along the way I learned lessons about confidence, discipline, and how you respond when things don't go your way. Those lessons matter as much as anything you do in the cage.

Stretch Baseball is how I pass those lessons on: honest feedback, practical guidance, and someone in your corner who has been where you're trying to go.

“Getting to the next level is one thing. Thriving there is another.”

Why Train With Stretch

Train different

Plenty of people can give hitting tips. Stretch Baseball pairs real hitting development with the mentorship that helps players and families navigate what comes next.

01

Recent, real experience

Division I and professional baseball, recently. Guidance from someone who knows what the game looks like right now.

02

Feedback you can use

Specific, practical hitting feedback with drills that make sense. No vague tips, no one-size-fits-all fixes.

03

Mentorship beyond the field

Mindset, confidence, discipline, leadership, and accountability: the things that hold up when the game gets hard.

04

Honest college guidance

A realistic look at recruiting and the jump to college baseball. No promises, just the truth about what it takes.

05

Built for serious players

This isn't a rec program. It's for committed high-school athletes ready to put in the work.

06

Play loose

Confidence comes from preparation. Train with purpose so you can compete free when it counts.

Straight answers. More details will be added as programs are finalized.

Who is Stretch Baseball for?

Serious, committed high-school baseball players who want to compete in college, and the parents and guardians supporting them. This is not a recreational program.

Can you guarantee a scholarship or a college roster spot?

No, and no honest coach can. What Stretch Baseball offers is real development, honest feedback, and mentorship from someone who has played Division I and professional baseball.

How does Remote Hitting Development work?

Remote hitting development is coming soon. Stay tuned for enrollment details. When it launches, athletes will submit swing video and receive a personalized breakdown with actionable drills and feedback.

What does the College Ready Mentorship Program cover?

It’s mentorship and personal development, not just hitting instruction. Athletes get 3 private 45-minute Zoom calls per month with Coach DeAmez, focused on mental performance, confidence, and handling failure; discipline, accountability, and leadership; and a personalized game plan for college baseball and the college transition, built around each athlete’s goals and challenges. It starts with a short application, followed by a free 20-minute introductory Zoom call with Coach DeAmez. For athletes under 18, a parent or guardian joins that call.

Where does in-person training take place?

In Orlando, FL. The exact training location is confirmed with Coach DeAmez after you book. If you can’t find an open time online, send a training request and he’ll follow up.

How much does it cost?

A single 60-minute private hitting lesson is $80, paid securely online when you book. The 4-Lesson Hitting Package is $300 (four 60-minute lessons, a $20 savings), paid once through Stripe. All four lessons must be used within 90 days of purchase, and siblings can share the package. After payment is verified, Coach DeAmez emails you a private link to schedule your lessons. Mentorship investment is discussed during the free introductory call. Pricing for remote hitting development is being finalized and will be posted here soon.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations within 24 hours are reviewed case by case by Coach DeAmez. A late cancellation may result in the loss of that lesson’s credit, but this is not automatic. There are no cash refunds for lessons. Eligible unused lessons receive training credit.
